Apex Arts League is proud to release the 2018-2019 Apex Season. The season will run from September 2018 to April 2019 with one to two programs per month.

Dragon Schedule Features Big Home Matchups in 2016

DragonHelmetThe Carroll Dragon 2016 football schedule features the new District 5-6A opponents and several big matchups at Dragon Stadium.

Carroll will open the season hosting the first two non-district games against Oklahoma power Tulsa Union and Arlington Martin.

During play in the newly-aligned 5-6A, the Dragons will host rival Trinity, Byron Nelson and Hebron. The new eight-team district includes five programs with state championships – Carroll, Trinity, Hebron, Marcus and Lewisville. The Dragon schedule also features seven teams that reached the playoffs last year.

The Dragons only non-district road game will be at Rockwall in Week 3 prior to the bye week. Following the bye week, Carroll opens district against Trinity.

Homecoming is Oct. 21 against Byron Nelson. Senior Night is Nov. 4 and the regular season finale vs. Hebron. Green Out Night will be Week 2 vs. Martin.

Carroll ISD’s First Semester Exam Schedule and Early Release times for December are now available. All Carroll ISD elementary campuses will have regular school hours during exam week. The First Semester Exam Schedule applies to grades 5-12 only.

Stadium Sponsors Prepare for Upcoming Home Games

Dragon football fans will have plenty to cheer about when the season begins on Friday, Augl. 30 at Dragon Stadium. Carroll hosts the Allen Eagles at Dragon Stadium, this game will also be the team’s Green Out game. Berkeys, Anchor Level partner at Dragon Stadium, will be the title sponsor for the game and will be giving away free Dragon football schedule magnets (pictured right) to fans at the gate.

The following Friday, Sept. 6, the Dragons host Midland Lee. Founding level partners Baylor Medical Center and Mike Davis State Farm will be Promotional Night Sponsors for this game. Both partners plan to provide giveaways to Dragon fans.

Homecoming is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 27 when Carroll welcomes Keller Central to Dragon Stadium. Anchor level partner Park Place will be the title sponsor for this game. Prior to kick off, there will be a video presentation featuring this year’s Homecoming Court and King and Queen. A special Homecoming Carnival, Parade and Pep Rally is planned for Wednesday, Sept. 25 in Southlake Town Square.

The next home game will be Friday, Oct. 25 against Keller High. This will be the Dragons annual “Pink Out” game to raise money for breast cancer awareness and research. Cook Children’s Medical Center is the Promotional Night Sponsor for this year’s Pink Out game.

The final home game of the 2013 season is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 8. The Carroll Dragons will host the Haltom Buffalos. Traditionally, the last home game of the season is dedicated to the senior class. This year, Senior Night will also be Dragon Youth Football night and is expected to be a widely attended event for the city and surrounding community. Founding level partner, Roxann Taylor and Associates, Realtors will be the Promotional Night sponsor for the game.

Dragons Open 2012 Football Season At Allen

The Carroll Dragon football team has released its 2012 schedule. The defending Class 5A Division I state champions will open the season on the road Friday, Aug. 31 at Allen. The matchup features the opening of Allen’s new stadium.

Carroll’s home opener will be the following week on Friday, Sept. 7 against the Midland Bulldogs. It will mark the first meeting between the two teams. The final non-district game will be against Temple on Friday, Sept. 14 at Cowboys Stadium as the featured high school game in the NCAA Division II Lone Star Conference Showcase.

The Dragons will have a bye week Friday, Sept. 21 before beginning play in the newly-aligned District 4-5A at Keller Central. Carroll will also host three consecutive home games in district against Keller Timber Creek, Richland (Homecoming) and Northwest. Senior Night will be Friday, Nov. 2 against Fossil Ridge. The 2012 regular season concludes on Thursday, Nov. 8 at Haltom.

Fans will have a sneak peek of the 2012 Dragons at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 24 in the annual Spring Game at Dragon Stadium. The game concludes spring workouts which began April 30. During last year’s state championship run, the Dragon went 16-0 and earned the program’s eighth state title, tying a state record.

Metro Sports Communications returns for its 10th year carrying all Dragon games live on The Word 100.7 FM. Chuck Kelly will handle play-by-play duties. Carroll ISD and Dragon Stadium sponsors will enhance the game day experience through a special promotional opportunity reserved for Anchor and Founding level partners. Berkeys, Park Place, Mike Davis State Farm, Roxann Taylor and Associates Realtors, Baylor Grapevine and Cook Children’s will have the opportunity to be the title sponsor of a single home games during the 2012 season. Fans can check out special promotional items and other freebies provided by these sponsors to show their Dragon Spirit.
