CISD Counselors Host Course Selection Meetings

The Carroll High and Senior High School counseling staff will be holding 2013-2014 Course Selection Parent Information meetings during the month of February. Parents with questions about various courses offered are invited to attend one of the upcoming meetings.

Times and dates are listed below:

  • Monday, Feb. 11- Parent Meeting for 9th grade parents to be held at Carroll High School (800 N. White Chapel Blvd.) at 6:30 p.m. in the Lecture Hall.
  • Tuesday, Feb. 12- Parent Meeting for 10th and 11th grade parents to be held at Carroll Senior High School (1501 W. Southlake Blvd.) at 6:30 p.m. in the SAC (Student Activity Center).
  • Thursday, Feb. 21- Parent Meeting for 8th grade parents to be held at Carroll High School (800 N. White Chapel Blvd.) at 6:30pm in the Lecture Hall.
  • Monday, Feb. 25- Coffee with the Counselors to be held at Carroll High School (800 N. White Chapel Blvd.) at 9:00am in the Lecture Hall.  This is a Q & A session regarding course selections for 2013-2014.

CISD Recognizes School Counseling Week

Monday, Feb. 4 begins National School Counseling week to recognize the contribution of professional school counselors within U.S. school systems. Carroll ISD currently has 19 counselors serving the needs of students. School counselors offer students educational guidance and social growth throughout their academic career. Carroll ISD joins the American School Counselor Association in celebrating these individuals for their continued hard work in helping students reach their full potential.
