Join members of the Carroll Show Choir an afternoon concert on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m. in the Carroll Senior High School Auditorium. The performance comes after the students spend the day in a UIL Clinic perfecting their skills. Parents are encouraged to bring young students interested in choir to the afternoon concert to experience the show choir.
Under the leadership of Marla Ringel and Bradley Kerley, Carroll choirs are receiving tremendous education in music performance and are excelling in competition.
Choir parents say that attending a choir concert today is great for all ages. Jennifer Pike says, the concerts are well developed, generally keeping to a one hour limit, and very entertaining.
“I am always blown away by the talent and planning involved in one of these shows and I encourage everyone to attend, ” Pike added.
Following the February UIL Concert, there will be another concert scheduled for May 19. The annual Spring Show is a big end-of-year concert that has historically been entertaining and fun. Currently, the time for the concert is scheduled for 7 p.m. and is expected to last a hour and a half.
