New USPI Southlake Medical Office Building Adds to City’s Thriving Healthcare Industry

Did you know that Southlake is home to almost 600,000 square feet of medical office space?

Growth in this industry is thriving and the recent addition of the USPI Southlake Medical Office Building, located near the intersection of East Southlake Boulevard and Tower Road Parkway, is proof of that.

This new two-story, 46,000 square-foot medical building was developed by United Surgical Partners, Inc. (USPI), designed by E4H Architects, and constructed by Adolfson & Peterson Construction.  Construction was completed early this year and the building is already 3/4 full with tenants.

USPI Southlake Medical Office Building is now occupied by the recently relocated Baylor Scott & White (BSW) Southlake Family Medicine, a multi-provider clinic that specializes in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics.

The medical building also houses Baylor Scott & White Pharmacy #112 a full-service pharmacy which is right next door to the clinic, as well as Touchstone Medical Imaging, a provider of diagnostic imaging services including MRIs, Cat Scans, x-rays, ultrasounds, women’s imaging, among other services.

“With just under $45 million in healthcare-related consumer sales in Southlake during 2017, it’s no surprise that this industry is continuing to grow,” says Alison Ortowski, Southlake Assistant City Manager and Director of Economic Development and Tourism.  “Southlake added about 27,000 square feet of medical office in 2017 and with this project and others currently under construction, we expect to approach 100,000 of additional square feet in 2018 alone.”
