There’s no better place to celebrate life’s most memorable moments than Legends Hall at The Marq. Last Thursday, Legends Hall was on full display for the community during the Legends Hall Dance!
The Legends Hall Dance is an intergenerational community dance hosted by the Southlake Senior Activity Center. Senior Center members and community members aged 21 and over shared a fun night of dancing, refreshments, and world-class entertainment. Friends, family, and couples gathered in the beautiful Traditions Ballroom dance floor as the crowd-favorite Southlake Swing Band played the night away!
Events like the Legends Hall Dance provide the perfect opportunity for community-wide bonding and connection. Our senior members bring the party everywhere they go, and we love celebrating with them! Our world-class Senior Activity Center staff and incredible volunteers from the Young Men’s Service League worked hard to provide an unforgettable night for participants.
“This program started as a seniors-only dance but evolved into an intergenerational event after we invited students from a local dance studio to join us for a performance during the intermission. Our seniors expressed interest in opening the event, and the community responded! We want everyone to know that you don’t have to dance to enjoy this fun and wonderful musical event!” stated Soheila Phelps, Senior Services Coordinator.
There’s always something exciting happening at Legends Hall and the Senior Activity Center. Providing world-class programming for our community is what we love to do! Check out the Senior Center Newsletter to stay up to date on all our programs!
