Southlake Parks and Recreation Teams Win National Under Armour National Tournament Title Two Years in a Row!

Winning is the new norm for Southlake Parks and Recreation teams. Two out of three Spring Flag Football teams won their division in the Under the Lights Powered by Under Armour Flag Football National Championship Tournament hosted at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in August of this year.

The football program spans across 28 states and over 150 cities, offering confidence building, competitiveness and non-contact experience for participants of all skill levels.

Winners:
Spring Flag Football Team, 3rd and 4th Grade Division, Texas  A & M Aggies – Division Title
Spring Flag Football Team, K-2nd Grade Division, Hawaii Warriors- Division Title

Runners-up:
Spring Flag Football Team, 3rd -4th Grade Division, Hawaii Warriors- Runners-up

A proclamation was presented to each team at the December 3 City Council meeting.
