Miracle Eggstravaganza Brings Easter Fun to Bicentennial Park

The City of Southlake is proud to partner with Miracle League Southlake to host the second annual Miracle Eggstravaganza, sponsored by Gateway Church.Boy meets the Easter Bunny at Miracle Eggstravaganza

Date: Sunday, March 25
Time: 1 – 3 p.m.
Location: Bicentennial Park Playground & Texas Rangers Miracle League Field (450 W. Southlake Blvd)

Miracle Eggstravaganza is an award-winning FREE event designed for special needs children and their families. Join us at the accessible Texas Rangers Miracle League Field in Bicentennial Park for an afternoon of egg scrambles, sweet treats, a balloon artist and so much more! The Easter Bunny will also be stopping by to take pictures with you and your family.

Egg scrambles will be available every 15 minutes from 1 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. On-site pre-registration is required to reserve your child’s spot in an egg scramble. The registration table will open at 12:45 p.m. Don’t forget to bring a basket!

Carroll ISD Transition Services Hosts Seminar

The Carroll ISD Transition Services Department welcomes families and any student with special needs to an upcoming seminar. The presentation will help special needs families learn how recent changes to the Social Benefit System (Social Security, Medicare, SSI, Medicaid and the Waivers) can affect the Special Needs Families. The seminar will be held at Carroll Senior High School on Monday, November 12 from 6:30- 8:30 p.m. The campus is located at 1501 W. Southlake Boulevard. CISD Transition Services Hosts Parent Seminar

The Carroll ISD Transition Services Department welcomes families of Special Needs to attend a seminar on Monday, Feb. 27. “Life Planning: The Care and Communication of the Plan” is a presentation filled with information for all ages of students with special needs. The seminar is from 5:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. inside Carroll Senior High School located at 1501 W. Southlake Blvd.

The seminar will help families learn how to develop a long term care plan for their special needs children, including learning how to assess needs and abilites, the importance of planning early, setting both short and long-term goals and understanding the need for a proper Life Plan.
