Mental Health Awareness Month: Eat Healthy

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re focusing on eating with mental health in mind.

Food is an integral part of our daily routines. It provides the fuel to keep powering through the day and the necessary social time to connect with our community. We all know that good nutrition is key to feeling our physical best, but did you know that there is a connection between diet and mental health?

A well-balanced diet helps us think clearly and improves concentration. When you are eating what’s best for you, you feel your best because you have the energy to fuel your brain. Conversely, not eating well leads to fatigue and can even heighten stress. When we experience stress, we often crave processed foods. In return, processed foods train our brain to crave more processed foods. As you put mental health to the forefront this month and beyond, make sure to include a healthy diet plan into your mental health toolbox!

Champions Club members can choose from three different packages with Janna. Each package requires a minimum of three sessions. During your initial session, you will discuss your InBody results, medical history, and current nutrition and lifestyle habits. You also get a goal-setting session that includes an action plan, eating strategy, and helpful resources. You then get at least two or more follow-up sessions to review your progress and discuss overcoming challenges.
