Carroll Tennis Teams Take 5th Place in Tennessee

The Carroll Dragon boys’ and girls’ tennis teams traveled to Tennessee last weekend to play in the DecoTurf High School National Championships in Chattanooga.

Both teams earned fifth-place finishes out of 64 teams in the prestigious tournament. Both teams posted 3-1 records. The boys defeated the state champions from Tennessee and Illinois, while the girls defeated the Georgia state champs.

Alec Reusche and Ashley Kim were named to the all-tournament team. The Dragons entered the tourney at the #4 seed.

Dragon Tennis Bound for Prestigious Tennessee Tournament

The Carroll boys and girls tennis teams will compete this weekend in the DecoTurf High School National Championships in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Carroll’s boys are the #4 seed and will face Montgomery Bell Academy our of Nashville first round, while the Lady Dragons will face North Oldham just out of Louisville, Ky.

Notably, Carroll’s Arman Dave is rated the 2nd highest boy and on the girls’ side, Ashley Kim is rated the 9th best player in this prestigious tournament.
