Designed with the needs of busy parents in mind, adult New to Tennis classes offer the perfect opportunity for new players to make the most of their day while the kids are at school. Classes for women are offered mornings and evenings, and for men and co-eds evenings, with indoor and outdoor options. Adult New to Tennis classes start the week of August 14. Meet STC’s certified tennis pros, tour the facility and find assistance selecting the proper tennis equipment at the New to Tennis Reception August 9.

STC also offers other adult programs, including more advanced adult tennis classes, weekly open drills for all levels, intramural league play, tournaments, and social events.  Weekly drills for different levels of play are available now. Players can sign up online or in the Pro Shop. Players looking to improve their game can book a private lesson with one of the certified teaching professionals.

Adult fall leagues start August 28 and continue for eight weeks. Players may sign up starting August 18 or until the league is full. There are different formats, from progressive leagues to set partner, divided into levels for competitive match play.

Fall junior programs are available for ages 5-16. Players are divided by age and ability, with both indoor and outdoor options. The junior program uses the principles from Evolution Kids, a leading junior program used at John McEnroe’s Academy and other leading programs throughout the world. The focus is on giving players the skills they need to start playing matches right from the beginning. Various levels of classes are held weekdays after school and on Saturdays.
