Carroll Soccer Update: Undefeated Girls Move to No. 1 in Nation

The Carroll Lady Dragons have moved to No.1 in the nation by TopDrawerSoccer.com.

The Lady Dragons are 6-0 and are coming off finishing 3-0 in the Georgetown tournament last week. This week, the Lady Dragons defeated one of the top teams – Keller – 3-1 on Tuesday at Dragon Stadium. Alli Gardner, Kendall Gilpin and Ally Griffin each scored goals. Brittany Martin and Sydney Nobles each had an assist.

Carroll has allowed just three goals this season. The Lady Dragons return to action Tuesday at Hebron to start District 5-6A action.

Taylor Tufts leads the team with six goals, including two gamewinners in Georgetown, and Georgie Phelps leads with four assists. Follow the Lady Dragons on Twitter @SCLDS.

Dragons Hit the Road Thursday

The Dragons are currently 4-0 and ranked No. 2 in the state and head to Austin for three games starting Thursday. Carroll plays Vista Ridge, Lamar and Midland Lee.
