The best part? The City will be hosting a viewing party from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Rustin and Family Park as well as offering multiple viewing locations across the city for a safe and enjoyable community celebration!

We are taking advantage of this cosmic good luck by hosting a can’t-miss celestial celebration at Rustin and Family Park that’s sure to eclipse all expectations! There will be plenty of activities and fun for the whole family. Artists will be on-site to help kids paint masterpieces as majestic as the Milky Way, a live DJ will provide stellar space jams, there will be galactic games to compete in, cosmic cuisine from a handful of food trucks, and much more!

Can’t make it to Rustin and Family Park? Don’t worry, we have you covered. The Total Solar Eclipse might be a once in a lifetime opportunity, but your safety is our daily priority. Although Rustin and Family Park will be the only location with food and entertainment, we want to make sure everyone is able to view the Eclipse safely and off the roads city-wide. That’s why we added other viewing locations you can stop at including the Aria Amphitheater, the 4th Floor Parking Garages in Town Square, White’s Chapel Methodist Church, and Gateway Church!

It’s also important to remember not to watch the eclipse in regular sunglasses. Instead, grab one of our special edition solar-approved glasses available at each location while supplies last. Let’s make this once-in-a-lifetime event a safe and memorable experience for all!

We hope to see you at one of our viewing locations to count down the seconds until the moon eclipses the sun. Beyond the moon’s shadow of a doubt, it will be an event you won’t want to miss!
