February is officially the month of love, but not only because it’s Valentine’s Day!

Love is in the air this month, and there’s no stronger love than family love.
The weather in Texas may change radically from day to day, but our love for our family and community stays constant. We were honored to celebrate love with you at the 2022 Sweetheart Dance last Saturday, February 12. This event was such a hit that we needed two sessions to celebrate. Both sessions were completely sold out!
Southlake families embraced the theme and brought their sweethearts to Legends Hall at The Marq Southlake for a Valentine’s Day family night to Remember! We pulled out all the stops to make this a fantastic night for the whole family. Participants made life-long memories with a photo booth, Valentine’s-themed crafting, cookie decoration, a candy bar, snacks, and dancing!
The night was a huge success thanks to our committed staff, hard-working volunteers, and incredible sponsors. Love was in the air and a great time was had by all.
Thank you so much to everyone that joined us. We can’t wait to see you at our next world-class family program! Happy Valentine’s Day!
Valentine’s Day came and went, but Champions Club at The Marq Southlake started the celebrations early with a couple’s fitness challenge and Kids’ Night Out program.
A creative play on the 02/14 date, the Valentine’s Day Partner Challenge encouraged pairs to complete two rounds of 14 calories on the assault bike, 14 squats, and 14 push-ups as fast as they could. Partners had two weeks to complete the challenge for the chance to win some Champions Club swag.
While the competition was fierce, we had three winners come in with the fastest times. Our winning couples represent the collaborative nature between our Champions Club members and staff. Our winning couple was a husband-and-wife member combination. Our second-place team consisted of City of Southlake employees who are also Champions Club members. In true family spirit, our third-place pair included a member and one of our Managers on Duty! A huge congratulations to our winners:
While the Champions Club family pushed themselves to the limit with the Partner Challenge, staff members hosted a free membership appreciation Kids’ Night Out event on Friday, February 12. The valentine-themed event included games on the indoor turf field, making Valentine’s Day cards, pizza, and a movie! Kids’ Night Out was the perfect opportunity for kids to have fun playing and creating art while giving parents the chance to enjoy a date night.
Love was in the air this month at Champions Club! Whether it is love for family, fitness, fun, or all of the above, Champions Club is the number one destination to make lifelong memories for the whole family! Valentine’s Day is almost here, and we’ve planned a fun morning for you and your little one to create sweet memories together!

Kids ages 3–5 are invited to celebrate Valentine’s Day with their favorite teddy bear at this special preschool program on Friday, February 1.
This Valentine’s Day, Southlake Parks and Recreation is inviting preschoolers and their favorite teddy bear to join us for a morning of games, crafts and Valentine’s-themed fun. We’ll even be creating a beary special Valentine’s Day surprise!

The Marq Southlake is getting into the Valentine’s Day spirit by offering “A Sweet Deal” on facility rentals. Leading up to February 15, 2016 guests who book a rental at The Marq can receive “A Sweet Deal” that consists of complimentary facility amenities and/or additional hours of rental time with a value of up to 14% of a guest’s total room rental. For example, 14% off of a Saturday Traditions Ballroom rental would amount to about $900.
