Lane closure, southbound N. Peytonville Avenue

Lane closure, southbound N. Peytonville Avenue

Waterline repair on N. Peytonville Avenue scheduled for Tuesday, December 1, 2015. Expect traffic delays due to lane closure.

Beginning December 1, 2015, the Public Works Water division will be repairing a leak on a 12 inch water main located at 1330 N. Peytonville Avenue.  In order to excavate the line for repairs, the southbound lane of N. Peytonville Avenue will need to be closed. Flaggers will be onsite to direct traffic, so please exercise caution if traveling in the area.

The work will last all day (weather permitting) and traffic delays are to be expected due to one lane of traffic being open.

For questions about the work, please contact Public Works Operations at 817-748-8079.

Waterline Installation along W. Bob Jones (Top); Waterline replacement at Lake Drive/Burney Lane (Bottom)

Waterline work at West Bob Jones Road and Lake Drive/Burney Lane is complete.

Earlier this year, City contractors began installation of a 12-inch waterline at West Bob Jones Road, from TW King Road to North White Chapel, and replacing a two-inch waterline with an 8-inch waterline at Lake Drive/Burney Lane. Both of these projects are now complete.

The completion of these Southlake 2030 Water Master Plan projects will ensure that water demands are met in growing and developing areas and will ensure adequate fire flow in case of emergencies.
