LiveFit Wellness Challenge – Fitness Fun Day

As part of the 2018 LiveFit Southlake Wellness Challenge, the City of Southlake is hosting a free Fitness Fun Day on Saturday, February 10th at The Marq Southlake.

With warmer spring temperatures looming and summer around the corner, now is the perfect time to kick-start your fitness journey! Fitness Fun Day is your chance to try out popular group fitness classes like Zumba, Total Body Blast and Gentle Yoga for FREE. You’ll earn 3 points in the LiveFit Wellness Challenge for each class you attend, but more importantly, you’ll start your weekend off right with a great workout in an uplifting atmosphere. We’ll even have complimentary coffee and light refreshments for you to enjoy before or after class!

Fitness Fun Day will also feature a hands-only CPR class led by Southlake DPS from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (no certification cards). CPR is a simple maneuver that can double or even triple a person’s chances of surviving a cardiac event. Whether you’re new to CPR or looking to refresh your skills, this free classroom-style training session will take you through the basics so you’ll be prepared in case of an emergency. This is not a certification class, and participants will not earn certification cards.
