We know learning never ends, so we have plenty of after-school classes for the creative and curious kiddos in your life. Part of providing world-class recreation services to our residents includes bringing in the most engaging contract instructor classes to round out our robust recreational offerings. If you have a young child between the ages of 6 and 12, make sure to sign them up for one of the following classes!

Snapology
Snapology provides interactive, STEM/STEAM programs for children featuring technology and popular building toys such as LEGO bricks! With multiple classes available covering a range of topics, Snapology is the premier children’s enrichment program!

Yoga for Children
Empower your child with the timeless wisdom of Yoga. This program includes teaching your child postures, breathwork, mindfulness, and focus!

Chess Wizard
Is your child the next Chess Wizard? This class offers tons of challenging chess lessons, exciting games, and fabulous prizes! Your kiddo will improve their chess skills and work out their brain. All materials are included.

Dallas Magic Academy
Get ready to take an amazing adventure into the exciting world of Magic. Learn how to move objects with your mind, escape from chains, and operate a time machine, just to name a few. In this course, students will learn the different types of magic from dinner table tricks to big stage illusions, but more importantly, they will discover the real secrets to becoming a true magician as each lesson reveals an important life skill to help build their confidence and communication skills

Musical Theatre
Is your child destined for the Broadway stage? Join the Hopeful Theatre Project for five weeks of song and dance! Each class will build on the class before and focus on movement, listening skills, creativity, and music. Students will put together an entire number from a favorite movie, such as Frozen, Beauty & the Beast, Lion King, etc. The sixth and final class will be a small performance for family and friends, so the students can shine and show all they have learned.

Tech Club
Helping students learn and develop Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) related competencies is increasingly necessary to navigate an ever-more complex world in a globalized economy. Developing strong pathways in early learning provides a necessary foundation upon which students can build character, life skills, and leadership characteristics. Students will learn foundational concepts with an emphasis in patterns, sequencing, and logical thinking that results in an improved ability to solve problems. Students will learn transferable skills that will help them in areas such as school studies, team-related activities, self-confidence, and much more. Our hands-on approach results in enjoyable and creative experiences for young enthusiasts.

Don’t miss your chance to sign your child up for these spectacular fall programs! Remember that Champions Club members receive a 20% registration discount!

Bored With Your Workout Routine? Try Group Fitness!

There’s strength in numbers. If you’ve participated in a group fitness class, then you know that sharing that experience makes it more fun.

The year is almost coming to an end, but you still have plenty of time to finish strong! Your fitness journey is important to us, and we know that motivation can be hard to find. If you’ve been bored with your workout routine, it may be time to try a group fitness class!

Group fitness classes are some of our most popular member benefits at Champions Club. With five categories to choose from, the possibilities are endless! Try our Dance, Cardio, Aqua, Strength, and Mind/Body classes for a wide variety of fitness options. If our enticing class descriptions don’t convince you, then consider the following health benefits of participating in group fitness classes.

Get in Shape
Group fitness classes are a great way to get in shape without the added stress of learning a new machine. Take advantage of having a professional lead a class to ensure you target all the proper zones. Our strength classes range from all fitness levels and experiences. Ease into strength training with our Barbell Fusion class or sweat like a pro with our Strength HIIT class.

Socialize and Make Friends
Group classes are an ideal place to make like-minded friends. Share your love of Latin rhythms at Zumba class or master your Vinyasa techniques at one of our Mind and Body classes. There’s nothing better for your overall well-being than feeling like you are part of a team.

Find Accountability Partners
Nothing is more motivating to stick to your workout goals than a classroom full of people with similar aspirations. Working out alone can be tough. Group fitness gives you all the wellness benefits of going to the gym without the responsibility of going it alone!

Get Out of your Comfort-Zone
Joining a group fitness class can force you to get out of your comfort zone—especially if you are trying a course you’ve never done before. While it may seem intimidating at first, trying a new fitness form can be fun! Get on the bike for the first time at Spin4Life or take a stab at ballet techniques with Barre. You may find a new passion!

Make time in your schedule to try one of our group fitness classes next time you’re in Champions Club!
