The City of Southlake has entered an Interlocal Agreement with Tarrant County for a joint road reconstruction project of N. Carroll Avenue.

Roadwork will be completed in three sections:
Sector A – from Burney Lane and heading south
Sector B – from Dove Road to Whispering Lane
Sector C – from Whispering Lane to SH 114

Crews will utilize a new machine that quickly dries asphalt and makes the road drivable within 45 minutes.

Each sector will take at least two-and-a-half to three-and-a-half weeks to complete, weather permitting.

This cooperative effort is a cost savings solution that will improve the condition of the roadways as well as mobility in Southlake.

Flaggers will be on site throughout the duration of the project.

Repaving is expected to be completed by August 2021, weather permitting.
