We had a bevy of late calls on Fridays the past few weeks, so FINALLY here are some of the many calls and incidents we responded to for the weeks of October 7th through October 27th, 2022:

–Officers responded to a broken glass burglary alarm at the The Buckle.  Video showed two male bad guys in dark clothing, wearing masks and gloves, shattered the front glass with a rock.  Various cologne, watches, and clothing were stolen.  The suspects drove a grey Nissan Altima.

–A bicyclist ran into a stopped car.  He wasn’t injured and the driver of the car drove off.

–A bald black male, wearing reflective jogging clothes (or a uniform), was captured on a Ring camera entering a back yard around Byron Nelson Parkway.  The homeowner said he previously caught the same suspect in his backyard in August.  Officers created an offense report and increased patrols.

–Ten 20-pound propane tanks were stolen at Walgreens.  The suspect cut the padlock off the storage box.  Detectives are gathering footage.

–We issued a Silver Alert for one of our citizens who we finally located in May, Texas.  He had been missing for 25 hours and had run out of gas.  Local officers helped him out and family picked him up.

–An employee’s truck was stolen at Lowe’s.  The only suspect information we have is that a black Ford pickup with “pearlized” sparkly black paint pulled next to the truck around the same time.  The missing truck is a white 2017 Chevy Silverado 4-door pickup, Texas license plate PNT 4038.

–An officer driving home from working Oktoberfest contacted on duty officers about a suspected drunk driver in Southlake.  Officers located the driver near Roanoke and they were arrested for DWI/Open Container.

–A 53-year old was transported to Baylor Hospital after her foot was run over by a slow-moving vehicle.

–Bookoos of DWI arrests.  Stop drinking and driving.  Yes that’s how you spell “bookoos.”
