Here are some of the many calls and incidents we responded to for the week of July 23rd through July 28th, 2022:

–Coffee and Cars detail from 7:30am-10:30am yielded 43 traffic violations on Highway 114 and the service road, most of them for speeds over 88mph.

–Two Polaris pool cleaners were stolen from different homes

–Suspect stole a wallet at the Harbor Chase and made fraudulent charges at several locations

–Victim left an iPad in a shopping cart and it was stolen

–Officers instructed the Women’s Self-Defense course

–Sunglasses were stolen from Sunglass Hut

–Two unauthorized temporary tags traffic stops led to arrests for warrants and theft

–Officers worked a crash on North Carroll and the suspect who cause the wreck fled before officers arrived.  Officers searched the area and identified the driver and then made contact with their parents

–Officers arrested two suspects for possession of a controlled substance

–Two theft reports from Kohl’s and a stolen vehicle from Lowe’s

On July 26th, at around 1:45pm, contractors saw three black males park on Stratford in a black 2015 Kia Sedona with a Texas temporary tag of 0775G97.  The suspects ran to the contractor’s truck and began stealing their tools from the truck bed and inside.  One of the contractors ran to his car and followed the Sedona and collided with it.  As the Sedona continued fleeing down West Southlake Boulevard, it hit the curb and blew two tires, almost colliding with another car.  The suspects bailed from the car and fled around 261 East Southlake Boulevard.

Officers arrived and took statements and received a sketch of one of the suspects.  The contractors were able to identify their tools in the Sedona and reclaimed all of their property:  three drills, a backpack, a tool bag and circular saw, and a lunch box.  Officers also found multiple credit cards and other property inside the car from alleged different offenses.

The suspects were not located but detectives are working the case.
