As part of the N. White Chapel Boulevard Widening Project, contractors will be required to close a portion of N. White Chapel Boulevard to shift an existing water line.
N. White Chapel Boulevard will be closed between Emerald Boulevard and San Saba Drive from 7 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 17 and from 7 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Sunday, April 18. Thru traffic will be detoured around the construction area. The roadway will reopen once the work has been completed or no later than 6 a.m. on Monday, April 19. A single lane closure will occur from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on April 19 to remove the steel plates and install an asphalt patch.
Signage will be placed at the roundabout redirecting traffic west on Highland to Shady Oaks and then south on Shady Oaks to reach the park.
