To continue maintaining and improving community infrastructure, the City of Southlake is preparing for three upcoming projects involving roadway improvements and utility work.
N. White Chapel Boulevard Paving Project:

Beginning Monday, June 22, through Tuesday, June 23, 2026, there will be a temporary detour on N. White Chapel Boulevard due to paving work, weather permitting. Drivers are encouraged to plan for extra travel time and follow all posted detour signs while traveling through the area.
Work will take place daily from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
During work hours, the southbound lane of N. White Chapel Boulevard will remain open to through traffic. The northbound lane will be closed, and northbound drivers will be directed to use the following detour:
- Travel west on W. Dove Road
- Turn north on W. Kirkwood Boulevard
- Continue north on T W King Road
- Turn east on W. Bob Jones Road
- Return to N. White Chapel Boulevard
Please use caution near the work zone and allow extra time to reach your destination. Traffic will return to normal outside of the scheduled work hours.
Utility Location Work on N. White Chapel Boulevard:

On Monday, June 22, a contractor will complete utility location work along N. White Chapel Boulevard between Brentwood Circle and 1700 N. White Chapel Boulevard.
Work will take place on the west side of the road from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. During this time, the right southbound lane will be closed. Flaggers will be on site to help direct traffic.
N. Peytonville Ave. Shoulder Maintenance Work:

Beginning Monday, June 22, a City contractor will perform shoulder maintenance along N. Peytonville Avenue, just north of Corporate Circle, weather permitting.
Work is expected to be completed by Friday, June 26. Daily work hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Intermittent lane closures are expected, and flaggers will be on site to help direct traffic as needed.
