With its 12th Annual Jazz Fest, the Apex Arts League will present the University of Texas One O’clock Lab Band in concert on Saturday, February 29 at 7 p.m., at Carroll Senior High School Auditorium located at 1501 West Southlake Boulevard. These three talented high school jazz bands will open the program, performing commissioned pieces written by composition students at UNT. The One O’Clock, under the direction of Alan Baylock, is the premier seven time Grammy- nominated performing jazz ensemble from the internationally acclaimed University of North Texas’ Jazz Studies Program.
