Valentine’s Day came and went, but Champions Club at The Marq Southlake started the celebrations early with a couple’s fitness challenge and Kids’ Night Out program. A creative play on the 02/14 date, the Valentine’s Day Partner Challenge encouraged pairs to complete two rounds of 14 calories on the assault bike, 14 squats, and 14 push-ups as fast as they could. Partners had two weeks to complete the challenge for the chance to win some Champions Club swag. While the competition was fierce, we had three winners come in with the fastest times. Our winning couples represent the collaborative nature between our Champions Club members and staff. Our winning couple was a husband-and-wife member combination. Our second-place team consisted of City of Southlake employees who are also Champions Club members. In true family spirit, our third-place pair included a member and one of our Managers on Duty! A huge congratulations to our winners: While the Champions Club family pushed themselves to the limit with the Partner Challenge, staff members hosted a free membership appreciation Kids’ Night Out event on Friday, February 12. The valentine-themed event included games on the indoor turf field, making Valentine’s Day cards, pizza, and a movie! Kids’ Night Out was the perfect opportunity for kids to have fun playing and creating art while giving parents the chance to enjoy a date night. Love was in the air this month at Champions Club!
