The Southlake Public Library will offer curbside pickup for books and movies starting May 11. Are you ready to start reconnecting with your Library? Library team members are excited to be taking this first step with you. The health and safety of staff and customers is our highest priority, so precautions are being taken to restart services thoughtfully. Beginning the week of May 11, the Library will begin offering curbside service to cardholders Monday - Friday from 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. How will it work? Library cardholders will log into their accounts online at SouthlakeLibrary.com and search for books, movies or other materials. Lots of online browsing options have been created and will be updated regularly to keep materials fresh. What can I do now? Friday, May 1: Begin returning materials to the Library. All returned materials will be subject to quarantine and disinfection processes before being checked in and made available for others. Materials will show a checked out status to the current borrower until this process is complete. (We are not accepting donated books or movies at this time.) Monday, May 4: Customers may begin requesting items online through their accounts for curbside pickup, which will begin the following week, May 11. Limited staff will be available to process orders and prepare for curbside service. Monday, May 11: Curbside service begins, Monday - Friday, from 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. Customers who have received confirmation emails for held items may arrange for pickup by calling 817-748-8243.
