It’s no secret, Southlake employees are well qualified and highly trained to serve our world-class community of residents and businesses.

During Employee Appreciation Week 2021, several of our team members were honored with the Southlake Values Award.

The Southlake Values Awards recognizes employees who exemplify the City’s values of integrity, innovation, accountability, excellence and teamwork.

Check out what a couple of them had to say regarding their motivation to exemplify those values in their day-to-day performance.

Dale Dean – Chief Performance & Innovation Office, Property Notification Process Team

“Being a part of an organization that promotes such high values is why Southlake has a strong workforce. These standards set the precedent for team members to exceed expectations for fellow coworkers, directors and customers. With everyone on the same page to perform at the highest level, we can achieve our goals.”

Michelle DeVoss – Records Manager, City Secretary Office

“Working in an environment that prioritizes values such as integrity, innovation, accountability, excellence and teamwork say a lot about the City. These values are important to not only the employees but in turn benefit the community as well.  We all strive to achieve the best for the City of Southlake and its citizens, and these values help us accomplish that.”
