Traffic along N. White Chapel may have slowed down a bit, but construction has not stopped.
Waterline relocation work along the roadway has been completed. Contractors are continuing to work along the east side of the road to build the retaining and screen wall system between Emerald and Highland,weather permitting.
The next stages of the widening will include construction of significant underground storm drainage improvements, removal of the existing road pavement and construction of the new widened roadway, stripping of the new traffic lanes, new sidewalks and landscaping.
