Keep Southlake Beautiful is committed to enhancing the community environment of Southlake! Join us as we take part in the 2022 Great American Cleanup. Keep America Beautiful’s Great American Cleanup (GAC) is part of a nationwide effort that takes place in more than 20,000 communities year-round. Keep Texas Beautiful encourages participation in the event from March-May and helps mobilize thousands of Texans to improve the beauty and health of their community. Approved activities range from beautifying public green areas, cleaning waterways, handling recycling collections, picking up litter, to conducting educational programs and events.
When: Saturday, April 30 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Where: Southlake Parks. Specific location TBD.
Who: Families and individuals of all ages. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
What: Beautification activity will be determined by registration numbers to ensure a customized experience
What can I expect: Enrolled participants will receive an email a week before the event with the cleanup location and beautification activity. Keep Southlake Beautiful staff members will be on-site to provide materials and tools, including an exclusive Keep Southlake Beautiful swag bag! Volunteers can start arriving by 9:30 AM to pick up their goody bags. The cleanup lasts two hours. After that, participants can return their litter bags to staff and enjoy some complimentary light refreshments!
