If you’re there early enough on Wednesday, October 14 you may notice some closure signs at the Bicentennial Park playground. Starting at 7:00 AM, the playground will be closed for at least an hour so that a crew can sandblast the dragon creek basin. Once the sandblasting is complete, the rest of the playground will reopen, but the dragon creek basin will remain closed two additional days for re-painting. Signs will be posted at the gate entrance.
The City of Southlake and the Community Services Department apologize for any inconvenience. For more information, contact the Community Services Department at 817.748.8019.
The City of Southlake is looking for help from it’s citizens to name a new city park that is currently being developed; an approximately 5-acre park located southwest of South Carroll Avenue and Winding Lake Boulevard – about one block south of the new Park Village center.
