UPDATE 2/26/2014 – Next Tuesday, March 4, 2014, the 2014 Primary Election will take place all across Texas. Voters must vote at their designated county precinct polling location. Several Southlake locations will host polling sites for Tarrant County voters on Election Day. Denton County voters are also assigned specific locations in Denton County. On Tuesday, March 4, 2014, qualified registered voters of the City of Southlake will cast their ballot for various federal and state offices. Click here to see a list of offices open for election. To view the sample ballots, please click on the appropriate county link (Denton, Tarrant).
Early voting by personal appearance for the Primary Election begins February 17, 2014 and concludes on February 28, 2014. Please note, that February 17 is a recognized holiday and both counties are closed. The first day a citizen may vote in person will be Tuesday, February 18, 2014. Southlake Town Hall is an early voting location for Tarrant County residents. Early voting will take place on the third floor.
Southlake residents may vote at any early voting location in the county in which they reside. The polling locations and hours vary by county, please click on the appropriate link to view the early voting schedule.
In order to vote in the Primary election, a citizen must have been registered to vote no later than February 3, 2014. Voters are required to present an approved form of photo identification in order to vote in all Texas Elections. See below for a list of acceptable forms of photo ID:
