The Southlake Police Department is making final preparations to the traffic and mobility plan for this year’s Carroll Independent School District’s Homecoming parade that will take place in Town Square on Wednesday, October 19.
If you’re planning to attend this year’s homecoming parade, you’ll want to take a moment to familiarize yourself with the traffic plan and map of Town Square that we have provided. The parade will begin in the 400 block of Grand Avenue West, between Truluck’s Seafood Steak & Crab House and Barnes & Noble.
Police Officers, Citizens on Patrol (COPs), and Public Works teams will begin putting up barricades to block off streets in Town Square around 5:00 p.m. The parade will kick off at 6:30 p.m., followed by a pep rally at the end of the parade.
So, here’s what you need to know:
At the conclusion of the parade, Public Works employees will begin taking down the barricades, except for the streets where the pep rally is being held.
