Les Miserables Performance to Feature A Heart Full of Love

Roxann Taylor and Associates, Realtors is proud to present a Carroll Theatre Department production of Les Miserables.

Seniors Emily Cutler and Timmy Thompson (pictured right) initially met two years ago during Carroll Theatre Department’s Beauty and the Beast, when Emily played a Townsperson who bought three eggs from the Egg Seller, Timmy Thompson.  Now they are playing their dream roles of Cosette and Marius, respectively.

“Earning the role of Cosette has meant so much to me. Although grueling, the audition process was well worth my time and I can’t even begin to describe the joy I felt when my name matched with my favorite character on the cast list. Not to mention, my best friend in the world, Timmy Thompson, and I were paired as the show’s romantic duo. Our relationship has grown and flourished in the show and Timmy has been my rock throughout, “ said Senior Emily Cutler.

Senior Timmy Thompson said, “The character Marius and my personality have fit together like two puzzle pieces.  The rehearsals are very rewarding and I look forward to them every day, because I get to spend time with my closest friends.  My relationship with Emily Cutler is very helpful to this role, because we already have the natural chemistry that Marius and Cosette need. When I sing “Heart Full of Love”, I’m singing it to Emily, not Cosette. During the summer, we both were dreaming about receiving the roles of Marius and Cosette, and now it is a dream come true. I’d like to thank the Martinsens and Mrs. Fisher for helping me achieve this role.”
