Join us for the 2024 KSB Recycles Event

Keep Southlake Beautiful is thrilled to announce its participation in the 2024 Great American Cleanup.

Update: Keep Southlake Beautiful event has been rescheduled for May 11th.

In collaboration with esteemed partners GRACE, SafeHaven of Tarrant County, and the Keller Animal Shelter, the 2024 KSB Recycles event will be on Saturday, April 20, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Gateway Church, located at 700 Blessed Way.

The Great American Cleanup, a nationwide initiative, sees the participation of over 20,000 communities annually, and KSB is proud to contribute to this commendable effort. This year’s event promises a unique twist as it integrates community clean-up activities with opportunities for donations to prevent items from reaching the landfill!

Individuals and families of all ages are invited to partake in this meaningful endeavor. Whether dropping off gently used items or engaging in litter clean-up along designated streets, participants can make a tangible difference in their community. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Upon arrival at the Gateway Church parking lot, cleanup volunteers will receive the necessary materials and tools from KSB staff. Coffee and bagels will be served as participants gather supplies and select their designated clean-up locations. Following the clean-up, volunteers can return their equipment to be properly disposed of by the staff.

In addition to clean-up efforts, participants can contribute to the donation drive by dropping off approved items at designated collection points:

  • GRACE: Clothing, shoes, home decor/furniture, toys, books, movies, and dry food pantry items.
  • Keller Animal Shelter: Unopened dog and cat food, collars, leashes, toys, folding wire cages, and cat litter.
  • SafeHaven of Tarrant County: Bath towels, unused women’s and children’s undergarments, umbrellas, baby bottles, and sippy cups.

Interested individuals are encouraged to register for the 2024 KSB Recycles by clicking here. Only those wanting to participate in the cleanup portion of the program need to register.
