The City of Southlake is preparing for the initial phase of the Randol Mill Sidewalk Improvements project by surveying and gathering data for the sidewalk design. You might notice crew members out conducting this survey between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. beginning Monday, January 29th, through Friday, February 3rd, weather permitting. This work will not impact traffic, and is the first step to achieving the project’s goal of providing connectivity along Randol Mill Avenue!

Shady Oaks Drive Water Improvements:

The contractor for the Shady Oaks Drive Water Improvements project will be on-site in the coming weeks to complete clean-up items as we enter the final phase of the project. No road closures or traffic impacts are expected during this time, but please exercise caution when driving in the area as the team works to add final touches to this project. The main construction phase of this project has upgraded the integrity of the waterline, provided more fire hydrants, and improved water quality, to build a safer Southlake for all!

East Dove Road Sidewalk Improvements Project:

Construction for the East Dove Road Sidewalk Improvements project is set to begin on Wednesday, January 31st, 2024. During this work, contractors will be connecting the current sidewalk on the east side of the Estes Park neighborhood with the existing sidewalk west of Carroll Avenue. Access to driveways will be maintained and minimal impact on traffic is expected. This work is anticipated to last three weeks, weather permitting, and is another step the City is taking to improve connectivity across Southlake!
